Information about paper submission

Papers Related to International Baltic Conference on Magnetism IBCM 2019 will be published in IEEE Magnetics Letters and IEEE Xplore digital library.

After the IBCM publications committee has approved your manuscript, you may submit a four-page paper (plus one additional page allowed for acknowledgments and references), whether contributed or invited, for publication in IEEE Magnetics Letters (IML). If you are giving an invited talk, your article should not be a review; rather, it should contain mostly new results, as is appropriate for a letters journal. The regular editors will manage the review process. If your article is accepted, it will be published on-line, in preprint form, immediately after full peer review and your revisions. Several weeks later, it will appear as fully edited and typeset. Each paper will have its own article number and its own dates of submission and publication. IML is known for providing authors with prompt, helpful reviews. There is no charge for publication. 

Accepted articles will have a footnote, “International Baltic Conference on Magnetism, Kaliningrad, Russia, 18-22 August 2019.” Except for the footnote, the format of your article will be indistinguishable from that of any other IML article. It will not be part of a conference proceedings. Each article will be open access for anyone for 10 days after publication. There is no charge for publication. 

The URL for article submission is http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/maglet-ieee.  In Step 1 of the submission process, please select as the Manuscript Type the subject area closest to that of your article. In Step 3, under Conference-Related Articles, please select “IBCM – International Baltic Conference on Magnetism.” In Step 6, under Cover Letter, please copy and paste your notice from the IBCM publications committee that your paper is approved for submission to IML for peer review. 

The IML website for published articles is http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/RecentIssue.jsp?reload=true&punumber=5165412IML is tracked by all major indexing services, including Web of Science and Scopus. The average time from submission to preprint publication is 4 weeks.
