Dear Colleagues,

This week the Organizing Committee of the IV International Baltic Conference on Magnetism (IBCM): Focus on Nanobiomedicine and Smart Materials made the final decision on the conference abstract acceptance. The number of abstracts, submitted for an oral presentation, exceeds the amount of available time slots, however, we hope that everyone will spend a great time at IBCM-2021 and establish new fruitful collaborations. Thereby, we are happy to announce that 70 oral talks and 115 poster presentations will be given at the Conference, either on-site or online. We are also delighted to inform you that 31 students, who passed the comprehensive evaluation, will receive student support grants from the IEEE Magnetics Society for a conference participation.

Looking forward to meeting you soon at IBCM-2021!

All the best,
IBCM Organizers

Dear Colleagues,

The summer is getting closer and so is the International Baltic Conference on Magnetism: Focus on Nanobiomedicine and Smart Materials (IBCM-2021) to be held in the Volna Hotel of Svetlogorsk resort region.

Summer is the typical high touristic season in Svetlogorsk region and the interest only got bigger this year due to the inability of abroad traveling. Thus, we highly encourage you not to delay with booking the accommodation and rent an apartment the sooner the better. Svetlogorsk is one rather small town and the number of the available apartments, especially in summer, may be limited.

We are happy to announce that you can use promo-code IBCM 2021 if you plan to stay directly in the Volna Hotel. The promo-code can be applied on the web-site https://hotelvolna.ru/ starting from the 12th of May 2021 to get fixed price accommodation for the Conference days.

Looking forward meeting you in Svetlogorsk in person!

Sincerely yours,
IBCM Organizing Committee
