Irina Machay – Madrid 2015

Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM)

Calle Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Madrid, Spain

At this summer from 1st of May to 30th of June together with Irene Iglesias I had my first scientific trip in the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM) in nanomagnetism and magnetization processes group.  Our supervisor was Prof Manuel Vazques. We had different aims, Irene created full and partially covered microwires by electro deposition, and I explored partially covered microwires, which had been prepared by magnetron sputtering technic, on the Nano Moke (Kerr-magnetometer) and on the Network analyzer.

Our trip was successful, and besides our work days, we had many impressions from our great holidays. We were in Toledo, in the Escorial Monastery and seen Ronaldo! We met many Spanish friendly people, eat real Spanish food and had significant experience for our scientific ways.
